Living on-campus versus off-campus is a big topic among
students of Michigan State University. On-campus students have a different
perspective of what it is like to live on-campus than off-campus residents do. I
met with on-campus sophomore student Kelsey Patten in Rather Hall of MSU to
look at the experiences of what an on-campus life is like. Even though she is a
transfer student, living on-campus has made the transition easier than she
thought with how big the campus is and not knowing a lot of people coming in. I
also met with off-campus junior student Allison Castiglione at Campus Village
apartment complex to find out what her experiences have been like off-campus. The pros of on-campus living versus off-campus living are changing with renovations being made across MSU campus and off-campus making residents happy with amenities.
